In the International map, Thai Cuisine has a very important placeholder. There are probably a handful few, who would turn their noses away from Thai Cuisine. It is one of my all time favorites and thats precisely a reason why I cant help being excited about the next A W E D Theme. yes its THAI Food.

The variety of dishes thats at your disposal is mind boggling and it is the next best thing to your own food, if you are like me with respect to Spicy food. Like Indian food, Thai cuisine is also about correct amalgamation of five fundamental flavors – Hot, Sour, Sweet, Bitter and Salty. The correct balance of this enhances the dish to new heights. Are you aware of the beauty and richness of the Thai cuisine? or are you yet to try this fresh and herby food? Do you have that aromatic and yummy looking recipe in your “to be tried” list somewhere? Curious about this big hocus pocus about Thai food? If you said Yes! to any of the questions above – then it is time to try out and venture out to make some right now.

I Invite all of you chef’s out there to travel with me to Thailand the coming month to sample their cuisine and talk about their food. Make any dish which reflects their food culture – can be authentic or a result of your own creativity, but the underlining rule is it should have “Thai” written all over it :) Only Vegetarian pls.

Need help with what to start? Here is a list for you to get inspired with. You can use your own expertise to make a Non vegetarian dish into one without which is the main emphasis of this event.

We have a Thai restaurant nearby and we went in because the aroma was so good. But once we went in ordered I couldn’t bear the odor. So I have kept enough distance from Thai restaurants and have not tried anything Thai. I’ll check the list DK, since this one is vegetarian, maybe I’ll like it.
