Nothing gives a cook, especially a blogger, more satisfaction than getting feedback about her recipes. Few kind words, few “thanks” and tons of emails letting the cook know that her recipe turned out well etc. always play a pivotal role for all the effort she puts into her blog. I take this post to reach out to all my readers (who have commented and who are yet to) to personally thank them for trying out my recipes especially to those who take the time and energy to let me know about the same too.
Few days back, a dear reader of mine Gajra, tried out baking bread (and an eggless version) for the first time and started out with a bang with “Swiss-Zopf bread”. With few queries now and then, she made it with success and what more she was kind enough to send me her pictures which she took from her mobile phone. With due permission, I have reproduced the same below:

This is what Gajra had to say. In her own words -
” so did the braid and was really happy with the result and i got compliments galore. firstly had to convince my better half that it wasn’t store bought and then when i told my friend i’d baked a bread she gave me a luke warm response until she saw it and then all hell broke loose she couldn’t believe i had made it.
Thank you Gajra for sending me the pictures along with the feedback. This kind of encouragement is what that keeps me going

Wow…very cool indeed! Both the bread AND the fact that someone took the time to give you pictures….I know exactly what you mean…it is like cooking for family…if they don’t say anything…then how do you know if it is satisfying, right?!
Yes you are bang on with your point. I know I like to cook but at the same it doesnt hurt if I actually get a feedback too. More honest and genuine a feedback, more the encouragement – better will it be for my cooking

Hi DK, that’s a very cute comment form. I called you the day before Diwali, but got the answering machine and was not sure if it was yours. Hope you had a great Deepavali. I finally made some friends and we had a pot luck party on Saturday night.
