I have been such a bad girl – really bad! I have not been regular with my FMKTY series and apologize for being so irresponsible. Having too many things happening at my end is def. not an excuse and I assure you that this wont be a reason for not being regular with this feature again.

Dear Sharda sent me some yummy and luscious  Gulab Jamuns that she tried from Chef In You. I still remember her comment inquiring me about the difference between Baking soda and cooking soda which bought a smile to my lips – How well I remember asking the same question to quite a few people when I first landed in the U.S.A and found myself with so many new things that I was left helpless. Its amazing to look back on those days…

With the doubts clarified, she very sweetly sent me the pictures she had taken of her Gulab Jamuns. Such encouragement and motivation is a boon, a blessing I would say for any blogger. Not only do you get to do what you love, you actually get appreciated for it too! That’s quite a job satisfaction, what say you?

This is what Sharda had to say. In her own words – ( I am combining her comment and email)

” Hi DK,Gulab Jamuns came out just right. They are so fluffy and spongy that I could not resist taking few pictures and sending it to you as a thank you note. Thanks for the effort and helping people in kitchen with your wonderful tips and cooking.”

Thank you Sharda for sending me the pictures of your creation. The fact that your Gulab Jamuns induced you into taking some snaps is what makes those jamuns extra special not only to you but to me too :)

Do you have any pictures of a successful dish made from Chef In You? Any great experience to share with rest of us? Please drop me a line and I will showcase it here :) and also in my HomePage

  1. I made some too but with Gits mix. Only sweet I would “choose” to eat as I don’t have sweet tooth. Looks yum.

  2. ummmm yummy,..stil to try these,..

  3. Indeed it is wonderful when some try the recipe from the blog, but more when the person who is not a blogger send a pic of the food they made.
