Hi friends,
I am too bored for doing sambhars and other normal curries for lunch..so today i tried a brocolli sabzi for afternoun rice..It came out well and i had this sabzi for dinner along with roti..Its wonderful..I am very happy to share my recepie with you..

  • Yields: normal size broccoli -1,medium sized potatoes -2,onion-1 cup,medium sized tomatoes-2(finely chopped),ginger garlic paste-2 tablespoons, cinnamon sticks-2,cloves-4 nos,bayleaf-2 nos,jeera-1 spoon, fennel seeds-1 spoon,shillipowder-1 spoon,turmeric powder-1 spoon,corriander powder-1 spoon,garam masala-1 spoon,corriander leaves, cashewnut paste-2 spoons,salt to taste
Ingredients
  • normal size broccoli -1,medium sized potatoes -2,onion-1 cup,medium sized tomatoes-2(finely chopped),ginger garlic paste-2 tablespoons, cinnamon sticks-2,cloves-4 nos,bayleaf-2 nos,jeera-1 spoon, fennel seeds-1 spoon,shillipowder-1 spoon,turmeric powder-1 spoon,corriander powder-1 spoon,garam masala-1 spoon,corriander leaves, cashewnut paste-2 spoons,salt to taste
Method
1.

clean and cut broccoli,potatoes into small pieces and keep it aside.

2.

Heat a pan add any vegetable oil.Add cinammon sticks,cloves,bayleaf,jeera and fennel seeds.Let it fry nicely.

3.

Add onions and fry till it becomes brown.Now agg ginger garlic paste and fry nicely till the raw smell goes.

4.

Add tomatoes saute till it become juicy and add chillipoeder,turmeric powder,corriander powder.Fry till the oil gets seperated out.

5.

Now add the broccoli and potato pieces and mix it well with the masalas.Add water and salt.Let it boil and cook nicely.

6.

Finally add garammasala powder and the cashewnut paste.Simmer the stove so that the sabzi gets cook evenly with the masalas and cashew paste gets ticker.Finally garnish with fresh corriander leaves..
sabzi is now ready to taste..
