In all festival south Indian people's surely will make sambar with rice, idli, dosai, puri, pongal and etc.
It's very delicious recipe in south India. Now a day all the Indian people's likes sambar.

Now I want to tell you how to prepare sambar.

First you take tentil (100g) and boil it.
Cut the onion in thin and long size(1onion),tomato(1 no), green chill(2 no), garlic (3 nos).
Cut the vegetables( potato,carrot, brinjal, lady's finger, dram strick, beans). You take one or two veg from this and cut in small pieces.
3 tspn oil put in to the pan and heat it. Then add mustard seed (1/4),cumin seed (1/4 tspn), curry leaf, green chillies , onion and mix well. When onion become light brown then add tomatoes. And mix well in medium flame. Then add vegetables string well then add 1/2 glass water and add salt and close the pan for 5 mins. Then add boiled tentil and turmeric powder, (red chill powder, coriander powder ) or sambar powder and then tarmarind water(1 lemon size )and add 2 pinch asafoetida and cook well and finally add coriander leaves and serve with rice, idli, dosai, pongal ,puri and ENJOY THE SAMBAR............
