Deep Fried small maida pooris, soaked in flavoured Kesar milk with sugar, elaichi powder and garnished with badam and saffron!!

  • Yields: 10-12 medium sized polis!!
Ingredients
  • Refined flour/Maida-1 cup,
  • Boiled milk and reduced to half- one litre,
  • Refined oil-half litre,
  • salt-a pinch,
  • Sugar-500 gms,
  • elaichi powder, saffron-for seasoning,
  • finely cut badam pieces
  • Water-half cup
Method
1.

Knead maida flour, with a pinch of salt, adding little water,keep aside for 10 mts

2.

Boil milk, reduce to half, add sugar, elaichi powder and keep aside

3.

Make small pooris, deep fry,cut into half/semi-circular shape and soak them in the flavoured milk.

4.

Finally garnish with saffron/kesar and badam pieces.
