Shrikhand is a Maharashtrian dessert,must for their any occasions.It is very easy to make and healthy too.The beauty of this dessert is that u can make it in your choice of flavors,can ad fresh fruit pulp or chunks ,any dry fruits too.....:)

  • Yields: serves 2 person
Ingredients
  • 2 cups hung yogurt
  • 1/4 cup crushed almonds(blanched and peeled)
  • 2/3 cup castor or icing sugar or sugar free powder
  • few drops of almond essence(optional)
  • For Garnish:
  • Chopped almond with skin
Method
1.

Mix all the ingredients thoroughly and refrigerate.

2.

Take out an hour later and mix well again.

3.

Garnish with almonds before serving.

4.

Serve chilled with Hot puri........fried Indian bread..:)
