  • Serves: 2 people
Ingredients
  • Poha - 1 cup - i used the smaller grains of poha. They work better than the bigger ones.
  • Jaggery - 3/4 cup
  • Elaichi - I used just one after making it into powder.
  • Shredded Coconut - 2-3 tsps.
Method
1.

Warm some water in the microwave like 2-3 tsps and put it over jaggery so that it melts.

2.

Wash the poha in water once.

3.

Once the jaggery has melted, add the jaggery water to poha and heat it.

4.

Once the mixture becomes nicely coated with jaggery, add shredded coconut and mix it well.

5.

Add Elaichi in the end and switch off the gas. The sweet poha or aval is ready.

You may use any dry fruits of your choice too to make this recipe more flavorful. Feel free to add cashews after heating them in ghee. They will taste great.
