This is traditional dish of Rajasthan,served with Batti.Actually five pulses are combined in this that"s why called pachkuti dal,very tasty ,healthy.......a cup of this n your day"s need for protein is met:)
DAL:Wash n Soak all in a deep vessel with warm water for 3 hours.Pressure cook with soaked water and take 6-8 whistle.
In a kadai/wok add all ingredients of tempering and saute for 2 minutes,add all ingredients of add on,one by one and saute for 3-5 minutes.
Add all spices and boiled dal and enough water and simmer for 10-15 minutes.Garnish with fresh coriander.
serve with batti or steam rice or chapatti or any bread of your choice:)
