A Green rice with the aroma of Cilantro!!

Ingredients
  • 1 bunch of Cilantro
  • 2 cups Basmati rice
  • 1 small onion sliced
  • 1 1/2 tsp ginger/garlic paste
  • 3 green chillies
  • 1/2 cup grated coconut
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 4 cloves
  • 1 inch cinnamon
  • 1 elachi
  • 1 star anise
Method
1.

Grind cilantro leaves with grated coconut and green chillies

2.

heat oil,and fry the whole spices along with ginger garlic paste and onions.

3.

add rice,turmeric and the ground paste to this.add salt to taste.

4.

add 3 1/2 cups of water and cook until rice is done.
