Tarbooz means watermelon in hindi,after eating the red part of it,we throw away the white part.But I made the side dish , out of it:)
In a pan heat oil and add tempering,ingredients and saute.Add watermelon,spice mix and saute.
Add 1/4 cup water,mix well ,cover and cook on medium flame till little soft.
Add roasted gram flour and mix well.Cover and cook for 3-5 minutes on slow flame,mix well,serve hot.
Taste good with steam rice and dal,can be eaten with any flat bread......:)
i used it,as besides tasting great and being low in calories because watermelon is mostly water, it is an excellent source of vitamin a ,b ,b6 ,c ,potassium ,magnesium , iron and fibre,so why to waste all......:)
