As only a day left 4 christmas......I made this 4 all ma CIY that they can try n make this easy n quick cake....enjoy....Happy Christmas 2 all ma foodie frnds:)

  • Yields: serves 4-6 person
  • For Batter:
  • 1 cup butter
  • 200 gm condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 package semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 tsp soda-bi-carb
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup fresh pomegranate juice
  • 50 gm milk powder
  • 4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • For Chocolate Icing:
  • 240 gram icing sugar (sifted)
  • 25 gram cocoa powder (sifted)
  • 50 gram butter (melted)
  • 40 ml milk (chilled)

Preheat oven to 360 degrees F.Grease a cake pan.Mix the ingredients for Chocolate Icing and keep aside.


In a large bowl, mix butter, condensed milk until smooth and creamy.Add the vanilla and chocolate chips and mix well.


Add pomegranate juice and mix well, but do not keep for too long.Add cocoa powder to it.


Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour; let cool and apply chocolate icing and decorate it as you wish,cut and serve......Merry Christmas to all:))))))))))
