Hi friends,this bars go well with anything any time....tea or coffee.I like it with ma Almond Tea......enjoy:)

  • Yields: 15-20 bars-depends on the size u cut
Ingredients
  • * 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • * 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • * 3/4 cup sugar
  • * 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • * 2 tbsp flaxseed powder
  • * 2 teaspoons water
  • * 1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • * 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • * 1/2 cup soya flour
  • * 1 cup quick-cooking oats
  • * 1/2 cup toasted almond powder
  • * 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • * 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • GLAZE:
  • * 1-1/4 cups milk chocolate chips
  • * 1/2 cup butterscotch chips
  • * 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
Method
1.

In a large bowl, cream the butter, peanut butter, sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in the flax seed powder, water and vanilla.

Combine all the flours, oats, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture.

Spread into a greased baking pan,bake at 325° F for 18-22 minutes or until lightly browned.

For glaze, in a microwave, melt chips and peanut butter; stir until smooth. Pour over warm bars; spread evenly. Cool completely on a wire rack before cutting :)

5.

If want more protein can use 2 eggs instead of flax seed powder.

Is it really 12 cups of almond flour or is that a typo?

Thx Dk,U can also add ragi to it,i just wanted to maintain the golden color,other wise taste doesnt change.And by adding ragi u will make it rich in iron n calcium too:)
