Hi friends,this bars go well with anything any time....tea or coffee.I like it with ma Almond Tea......enjoy:)
In a large bowl, cream the butter, peanut butter, sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in the flax seed powder, water and vanilla.
Combine all the flours, oats, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture.
Spread into a greased baking pan,bake at 325° F for 18-22 minutes or until lightly browned.
For glaze, in a microwave, melt chips and peanut butter; stir until smooth. Pour over warm bars; spread evenly. Cool completely on a wire rack before cutting :)
If want more protein can use 2 eggs instead of flax seed powder.
as a dietitian most of my clients are always asking me for something , which they can carry to their gym and munch on after their work outs....n this is made......thanks to all of them:)
