Kulcha is a type of an Indian flatbread made from Maida flour. It is particularly popular in India and Pakistan and is usually eaten with chole.Kulcha is a typical Punjabi recipe, originating in Punjab.But this are stuff kulchas,dosen"t require any curry or gravy, just serve with curd / raita or as it is:)

Ingredients
  • FOR THE DOUGH:
  • 450 gram all purpose flour
  • 30 gram butter
  • 2 tea spoon sugar
  • 30 gram warm milk
  • 3 gram curd
  • 3 gram black sesame seeds
  • 1 tea spoon dry yeast
  • 1/4 tea spoon baking soda
  • salt as per taste
  • water as needed
  • FOR the STUFFING:
  • 2 onions finely chopped
  • 100 gram grated process cheese
  • 5 gram pepper powder
  • 2 green chillies finely chopped
  • 1 tea spoon chopped garlic
  • 1 table spoon chopped ginger
  • salt as per taste
Method
1.

FOR DOUGH:
Mix all ingredients,add water 2 make chapatti like dough.Keep for 1/2 an hrs,covered, with muslin cloth.

FOR STUFFING:
Mix all the ingredients an make lemon size balls.Make small thick circles from the dough.Stuff the stuffing balls and roll it like a big nan.

3.

Brush with little bit of butter and bake in preheated oven @ 180 degree C for 20 minutes.Can be served with any dip , sauce or curd dip or plain curd or as it is....:)

Note: To make it low cal, substitute all purpose flour with whole wheat / multi grain flour; butter with any vegetable oil; cheese wit paneer:)
