Ingredients
  • For Koftas:
  • 100 gram cottage cheese (crumbled) / tofu for vegans
  • 250 gram mix vegetables (finely chopped-carrot,flower,beans,pe‚Äčas)
  • 1 large potato (boiled,peeled n mashed)
  • 3 tablespoon all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2-3 green chillies(crushed) / as per taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon chilly powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
  • For Stuffing:
  • 4 tablespoon cashew nuts (toasted n chopped)
  • 4 tablespoon golden raisins
  • 4 tablespoon fresh pomegranate seeds(optional)
  • corn flour for dusting
  • oil for frying / bake
  • For Curry:
  • 2 tablespoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon black cumin (shah jeera)
  • 2 tomatoes (blanched n puree)
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 1/2 garlic (crushed)
  • 1/2 ginger (crushed)
  • 1 tablespoon chilly powder / as per taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 2 tablespoon raisins (soaked n pureed)
  • 1/3 cup curd / bean curd for vegans
  • 1oo gram Fresh cream
  • For white paste:
  • 4-6 cashew nuts
  • 2 tablespoon grated coconut
  • 2 teaspoon poppy seeds
  • 2 tespoon watermelon seeds
  • 1 cup milk (warm)
Method
1.

For Koftas:
Mix the ingredients of stuffing in a bowl.Mix all the above ingredients and shape dough into small koftas/balls of lemon size balls.Stuff the stuffing mixture ,roll again ,dust with cornflour and deep fry on medium heat or bake in the oven.

For Curry:

Soak all ingredients of white paste in warm milk for 1/2 an hrs and grind to smooth paste and keep aside.In deep pan heat oil,add black cumin and fry ginger, garlic and onions.

3.

Add tomato puree and white paste and simmer for 3-5 minutes.Add remaining ingredients except curd and cream.Cover and cook till oil separates,add beaten curd.

4.

Cook for a minute,add koftas, thick cream .Serve HOT with rice,nan,kultcha,chapatti or any bread of your choice:)
Note:
add koftas 5-7 mins before serving,other wise it will absorb the gravy.

Nice recipe will try for sure ....I assume you mean 1 to 2 teaspoon baking powder not 12 right ??? :wink:
