kids used to love this dish.This is something different and interesting from all others recipes.More important is that ,it consist of all vegetables which are require for children health.Infact,my sister and brother -in-law founds it interesting.

  • Yields: 4 tortillas
Ingredients
  • FOR GRILLED VEG :
  • 1 medium sized green capsicum
  • 2 medium sized onions
  • ½ tsp crushed red chillies
  • chilli sauce
  • Italian seasoning
  • For RICE:
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • I chopped onion 3 cloves chopped garlic
  • 1 cup boiled rice
  • 4tbsp salsa sauce
  • salt to taste
  • FOR SERVING:
  • 4 tortillas or wheat chapattis
  • chilli sauce or mint chutney
  • cheese
Method
1.

Chop capsicum, carrots and onions into small pieces.

2.

Cut broccoli into small florets .

3.

Heat olive oil in a pan, add vegetables and sauté them after they burn slightly.

Then stir, add broccoli and cook for 5 min.

5.

Add salt, chilies and mix well.

6.

Heat oil in another pan, add onion, garlic and sauté them for 5 min.

7.

Add boiled rice , salsa and mix well.

8.

Add chilli sauce and seasoning to vegetables and mix well.

9.

Place tortilla on a flat surface

10.

Put some rice on it and top it up with grilled veg.

11.

Add chilli sauce and cheese and roll.

12.

Bake them in the oven for 5minutes.

13.

Wrap in a butter paper and serve.
