Triple Yum! I used greek yogurt to make this and I made a double recipe, 1/2 went into a loaf with a dusting of powdered sugar as the final topping. The other 1/2 went into muffins done with macadamia nuts in the batter instead of walnuts, and topped with a cream cheese frosting. To the loaf half of the batter I added 1/2 cup of quick oats, (so I could justify eating it for breakfast , because I'm sneaky like that). Both the loaf and the muffins were great but I really liked the addition of the pats in the loaf. I am thinking of trying a slightly thinner blue berry almond version baked in those oven donut pans, to be used as a base for serving icecream. No matter how you make it, this recipe is a keeper.

Add 3/4 cup Greek yogurt and 1/4 cup water, combine and use it to make 1 cup yogurt. The addition of water us due to the thickness of greek yogurt in comparison to regular. At times, I don't do this to satisfactory results, but if you are trying for the first time, I would recommend doing the water addition. --DK
Of course! That chart is applicable for everything.--DK
Feedback noted. Will improvise on this soon. Thank you for letting us know :)
I wud say go ahead and try! One never knows with such recipes - who knows you might land on a treasure! ;) --DK
Thank you so much Apeksha :) Hanging the dahi for sometime until it thickens works. It need not be really thick - just make sure its not like buttermilk consistency. Thats more than enough. This is an yogurt bread, so adding it wud enhance the softness to the bread.Hope this helps :) --DK
You can use wheat flour + all purpose flour half and half. Substituting with full wheat flour might make the end product a little dense and not light. Try adding 1/4 of vegetable oil additionally. It might help.--DK
Thanks Christine :) I am glad to note that you liked it
The only sweetness that could possibly come from this bread is from the berries ( which usually are little tart in nature...) esp. if you use Demarara sugar.....We are not fans of sweet, hence most of my dishes unless otherwise mentioned arent that sweet....:)
