We love to eat bakery items; cakes , muffins , breads n so on .But most of the time we avoid our daily required serving of fruits.So , i just decided to combine fruits in our food in such a way that without noticing it goes in the stomach of our loved ones ,about whom"s health we really care a lot .....:)

  • Yields: small 4 paranthas
Ingredients
  • FOR DOUGH:
  • 1 cup wheat flour + extra flour for dusting
  • salt as per taste
  • water as needed
  • 1/2 tsp oil
  • FOR STUFF:
  • 1 cup paneer (grated)
  • 5-6 ripe but solid plums (cored and finely chopped)
  • 1 tbsp black sesame seeds
  • 2-3 green chillies chopped / or as per taste
  • 1/2 tea spoon sugar
  • 1/2 tea spoon pepper powder
  • 1 tea spoon grated ginger
  • 1/2 tea spoon cumin powder
  • salt as per taste
  • FOR COOKING:
  • Oil / butter / ghee (ghee taste divine)
Method
1.

FOR DOUGH:
Mix all the ingredients for dough, except oil and by using,water make chapatti like dough.Apply oil and keep covered for 10 minutes.

2.

FOR STUFF:
Mix all ingredients in a small bowl.and refrigerate till used.

3.

FOR PARANTHAS:
Make very small balls out of dough.By using dry flour roll very small puris.Spoon stuffing on one puri and cover with another one.

4.

Heat the griddle on high flame.Mean while,by using dry flour, just roll the parantha with light hands.Cook on medium flame from both the sides by applying oil / butter / ghee.

5.

Serve hot with curd , salad ,ketchup , salsa ,chutney or just as it is:)
Note:
Handle carefully with spatula ,don"t use tong .

actually when dk was discussing about plum , recipes it"s ,just clicked in my mind.though i had made sweet, plum paranthas ,so many times ,but this savory one is first time tried and hope fully turned well ,u can use any soft cheese such as ricotta , feta or process cheese instead of paneer (cottage cheese):)
