Cabbage and onion is an excellent combination. it tastes good when taken with sambar and rasam rice. even youmcan mix it with rice also.
Take a pan or kadai.Heat it and add oil. When the oil is heated,drop mustard seeds. When its spluttering add urad dal, and hing powder, saute it till golden brown and then add chopped onion.
Mix it for 5 minutes then add chopped cabbage.
Add turmeric and salt. When it is cooked saute it with a medium flame till the water gets absorbed then add red chilli powder. roast it for 5 more minutes.
Serve warm
