What is Quinoa known in Hindi (in India)? by DK on Dec 8, 2012
Since Quinoa is not an Indian crop, I am not sure it has an Indian (or a Hindi) name. I have heard that it is available in few select shops in Mumbai and Bangalore. Quinoa= is belongs to Amaranthus family from which Bathuva/ Rajgira belongs, so Quinoa is a species of Rajgira.

it is not an indian crop, its simply called quinoa in india. Jowar, rajgira etc can be substitutes of quinoa. Both quinoa and jowar, rajgira have same nutrition benifits.

CULTIVATED.
MOSTLY GROWN IN MADAYA PRADESH AND RAJASTHAN
