Potatoes are amazingly tasty and can be prepared on the grill in more ways .You can make grilled potato outdoors in summer or indoors in winter.These grilled potato ,with fresh pomegranate juice make the perfect side dish for any party hang outs, entertaining or even for lunch box too.....:)

  • Yields: serves 2-3 person
Ingredients
  • 8-10 baby Potatoes (blanched and deskined)
  • 2 tbsp. veg oil
  • 1/2 tsp dried coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried mint powder
  • 1/2 tsp chat masala
  • 1 tbsp red chilli paste / as per taste
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 cup fresh pomegranate juice
  • 1 tsp roasted anardana
Method
1.

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.Let stand for an hr. in refrigerator.

In baking tray lined with foil paper , place the marinated potatoes.Grill potato in a hot griller for about 15 minutes or until slightly charred.

Serve hot with lots of salads........:)A must try for any Barbaque!

Can be served as snacks,appetizer,pic ups,side dish or starter.Potatoes can be substituted with Paneer or Tofu.

my mom used to make,aloo in different forms,we used to call it as, sukhi aloo ki sabji,which she used to make with dry mango powder in a kadai,i just subsituted it with anardanan powder n fresh fruit juice.thx mom:)

Hi Nupur,Just a enough oil in a pan , add marinated potatoes n cook from all sides by turning with fork:)

Hi Tapsya,u can boil the potatoes in enough salted water for 5-7 mins,strain n transfer to chilled water and strain and use it:)
