According to me cooking is an art,u can play with ingredients n create a new piece of edible art.Today in the morning when DK is discussing about pears,I just brought and created this dessert,which can be palatable to any age group.........Specially for DK and ma CIY foodie friends,hope u all guys will like it:)

  • Yields: serves 2 person
Ingredients
  • For Roulads:
  • 4 slice fresh white bread (side trimmed)
  • For Stuffing:
  • 1 pear (grated with skin)
  • 1 cube process cheese (grated)
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • few pecans (toasted and crushed)
  • Butter as needed
  • For Cranberry Sauce:
  • 1 cup fresh cream
  • 1/2 cup condensed milk
  • 1 table spoon cornflour slurry
  • 1/4 cup cranberry juice
  • For Garnish:
  • Sliced pears
Method
1.

For Cranberry Sauce:
In a pan add milk,condensed milk,cornflour slurry and bring 2-3 boil,cool and add cranberry juice.Refrigerate till use.

For Stuffing:
Mix all ingredients and refrigertae till use.

For Roulads:
Slightly roll the bread with the rolling pin.Apply butter on it ,evenly spread thestuffing and roll the bread.

On a hot griddle roast the rolls ,from both sides ,by applying little bit of butter.

Assemble:
In a serving dish keep HOT rolls,pour chilled sauce over it and garnish with fresh pears.......Serve this HOT N COLD dessert to your surprise guests or in any cocktail party......or just enjoy after weekend dinner :)

Note:
You can use apple instead of pears.
You can use caramel or hot chocolate sauce instead of cranberry sauce.
You can just add rolls in the dish ,sprinkle grated dark chocolate over it,then spread grated cheese over it ,micro for 30 sec. and sere hot......it will tastes devine...:)
