Monsoon is the best time for munching on some juicy and spicy kebabs. Apart from the array of kebabs, Phaldhari kebab is a very popular dish among all the vegetarians.....:)It is a very attractive way of serving all nutrients in one dish 2 your loved ones:)

Ingredients
  • chat masala -one pinch
  • chopped fresh mint - 1/4 cup
  • Grated potato - one small (boiled)
  • chopped coriander -1tsp
  • crushed cashew - 2 tbsp
  • chopped dry fig - 1/4 cup
  • chopped dry apricoat - 1/4 cup
  • garam masala -1/4 tsp
  • green chilli chopped - 2
  • lime juice -1/2 tbsp
  • grated sweet potato - one small (boiled)
  • grated plantain - one small ( boiled)
  • red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • green cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
  • kasuri methi - 1/4 tsp
  • roasted cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
  • roasted gram flour - 1/4 cup
  • salt - to taste
  • poppy seed - as needed
  • oil - for frying or butter for basting
Method
1.

In a large bowl , mix all ingredients except poppy seed and oil,like mixing chapati dough.Refrigerate the dough for 1-2 hrs. for marination.

once ready put it on a wodden or metal sheek and coat with poppy seeds.Remove and fry in hot oil or bake in the preheated oven @ 180 degree C for 10-12 minutes.

If you bake it in the oven just brush it with butter or else it will become dry,always sprinkle little chat masala and lemon juice just before serving .And serve with chtuney or sauce of your choice...:)
