Flavored Oils are sometimes so handy, You can jazz up salads, breads with ease with these oils. I make flavored oils when I don’t have time enough to add lots of spices or am in a hurry or I just want to add some subtle touch of spice and flavor to normal dishes.
I mostly add such oils for my rotis. Substitute Vegetable/canola oil in this recipe with Olive oil to give enhanced taste to your salads. A touch of Indian flavor!
I got this idea from a magazine.
Method
1.Crush all the spices with a mortar and pestle. Or simply by the back of the spoon.
2.Place it in a sterlised jar and Pour the Oil on top.
3. Keep the Oil for 3-4 days in a cool place.
4.Strain the oil and use it for your dishes. It usually keeps well for months.
