WOW!! I made these and they came out amazing!! They were so soft in the inside. :) the only thing is that I mixed the blueberries in before the dough came togther so it was kinda hard for me to mix both the bough with the berries. That may be my fault because I get a bit scared and frustrated when try to knead dough that becomes really stick. In the end some of the berries broke. Do you have a tip that might help me? If so please share. Also I haev to say thanks for these amazing recipes. They are so simple and come out amazing. I have made scope before and honesly they never came out this amazing. :)
The scones are in the oven and are looking good and smelling yummy! I followed the recipe to the letter, but found it to be a bit dry after I had added all of the ingredients, so I added a little bit of milk at a time until the consistency looked right. Also sprinkled a smidge of sugar on the tops before putting them in the oven.
Grating the butter was a genius idea!

I think any other berry should work equally well. How about strawberries?
You have to handle the dough gently and add the blueberries slowly in it. If one or two breaks here and there, its totally fine. While baking few of them are going to ooze out anyways. Don't worry about that - but just make sure you knead it gently otherwise the scones will turn out hard :) --DK
Now that u tell me - it does sounds like a good idea ;) --DK
