20-25 red chillies
1/2 cup chana dal
1/2 cup urad dal
1/2 tblsp rai
take a spoon of vegetable oil and fry all the ingredients till golden brown in colour. allow to cool it properly grind to a fine pawder, i kept it coarse. can be preserved in a airtight container. while serving add spoon of oil mix well and serve with hot idlis.I use it to sprinkle on the dosas also and beleive it tastes very nice. Use pure coconut oil for more wonderful taste.
