A very light and scrumptious dish, I created this Indo Chinese fusion dish. Healthy, easy to cook. and great for entertaining. Rich in calcium and protein. Vegans can substitute paneer with any vegetables.

Ingredients
  • 300 grams paneer cubes ( or substitute cottage cheese with chicken, or vegetables cut in cubes)
  • 20 grams ginger paste
  • 20 grams garlic paste
  • 20 grams lemon juice
  • 20 grams kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 20 grams fresh mint paste
  • 10 grams star spices
  • 15 grams tomato ketchup
  • 15 grams light soya sauce
  • 10 grams lemongrass
  • 20 grams vegetable oil
  • 5 grams brown sugar
  • salt, to taste
  • oil, for basting
Method
1.

Mix all ingredients except for paneer.Add paneer and mix gently to coat.Refrigerate, covered, for 6 hours.

Spread paneer cubes on a grilling tray and grill for 10-15 minutes on each side. While grilling, continue to baste with little bit of oil to moisten as needed.Serve hot with salads and curd-mint chutney.

If you are using Chicken,it will require more cooking time.:)
