Hi friends,this simple but yummy thepla,are easy to make and healthy too.It is full of fiber,Iron,Lycopen-an antioxidant that helps in preventing cancer and heart trouble by increasing HDL-a good cholesterol and many more.Can be served as it is or with any sauce,chutney,curd:)

Ingredients
  • 1 beet chopped
  • 1 tomato chopped
  • 3-4 fresh red chillies (adjust it according to your taste)
  • 1/2 inch ginger
  • 8-10 curry leaves
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp tamarind pulp
  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup ragi flour
  • 1 tbsp soya flour
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • Salt as per taste
  • water as required
  • oil /ghee / butter as needed
Method
1.

Grind beet,tomato,chillies,ginger,curry leaves together.Add salt,sugar,tamarind pulp and again grind.

2.

Transfer this paste to the large bowl,add flours and add sesame seeds.Kneed into a normal dough,using the water if required.

3.

Make lemon sized balls and roll chapatti,using dry flour.Roast on hot griddle,by applying oil / ghee / butter.

4.

Avoid chillies if making 4 kids or elderly people.Serve hot and enjoy:)
