Curry leaf has many herbal medicinal properties and its a most prominently used herb in south Indian cooking. Using curry leaves with food strengthens the functions of stomach and promotes its action. It is good for indigestion problem. It also helps to control Diarrhea, and upset stomach problems. It also helps prevent diabetics and premature hair greying.We rarely use it and also in small quantity and also throw it out while eatjng,so I made using chutney with it ,to have the more benefits of this wonder leaf...:)

Ingredients
  • 1 cup fresh,soft curry leaves
  • 1/4 cup fresh coriander leaves
  • 1/4 cup fresh coconut (scraped)
  • 1/2 inch ginger (chopped)
  • 3-4 cloves garlic
  • 3-4 green chillies or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon jaggery
  • 1 teaspoon tamarind pulp
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • salt to taste
  • water as needed
Method
1.

In a grinder add all ingredients and make smooth paste.

Serve with idli,dosa,samosa,kachori,chaat, use in sandwich or frankie and toast.

I served it with small bhagar and coconut idli....:))))
