I am a gr8 mango fan,so when I have some raw mangoes left from, mango pickle, which i made yesterday,I thought to use it in something savory,And this parantha born:D.Believe me this really turn out nice,I had it with curd,but it will taste much batter with "Chunnda".

  • 2 cups Whole wheat flour
  • 2 table spoon all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup grated raw mango
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped spring onions
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped spring onion greens
  • 14 cup spinach paste (raw)
  • 5-6 finely chopped curry leaves
  • 1 table spoon finely chopped fresh coriander
  • !/2 tea spoon dry mango powder
  • 1/2 tea spoon sugar
  • 2 table spoon green chilli crushed
  • 3-4 leaves finely chopped fresh mint
  • Salt as per taste
  • Water as required
  • Butter as required

In a deep vessel mix all ingredients,one by one.If required use little bit of water and make chapatti like dough.


Keep in refrigerator for 10 minutes.Make lemon size balls and with the help of dry flour roll the round parantha.


On hot iron tawa,add parantha and on slow flame cook from both side,by applying butter.Serve hot with chunnnda,curd,or even ketchup if nothing is handy.


Good for morning breakfast /brunch/lunch /dinner.I can have it any time:)
