Kebabs are a great food for any occasion. They are easy to prepare and can be made using just about anything! You can make them with meat or without, with veggies or a combination of both. This Kebab has richness of fresh fruits along with the taste:)

  • Yields: 12 normal size
  • For Cover:
  • 1/4 kg potatoes (boiled and mashed)
  • 1/4 kg sweet potato (boiled and mashed)
  • salt and pepper as per taste
  • corn flour as needed
  • For Stuffing:
  • 1/2 cup fresh pmegranate
  • 1/2 cup fresh coconut (thickly grated)
  • 1/4 cup
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup cashew (chopped)
  • 2-3 green chillies (chopped) / as per taste
  • 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 1 tsp dry mango powder
  • 1/2 tsp crushed pepper powder
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp chat masala
  • salt as per taste
  • Oil for frying

For Cover:
Mix all ingredients, except the corn flour like dough.Make lemon size balls flatten and spoon the stuffing.Again roll into balls , with light hands.


For Stuffing:
Mix all ingredients in a bowl and keep aside.


Coat in corn flour,remove extra flour and deep fry in hot oil on fast flame.Drain on tissue paper,to remove extra oil.Serve HOT , with green chutney, ketchup ,salsa,curd and salad:)


If calorie conscious ,you can bake it also.But in rainy season ,this goes very well instead of any bhajias.

it"s raining heavily in my part of country and my family wanted something hot munchies like bahjias to accompany tea,but i m a great kebab lover and my fond of adding fruits to my regular,food is the reason behind this kebabs:)
