Papad rolls or papad kebabs....a very tried and tasted recipe...can be made with different fillings and different herbs,good for surprise guests.....:)

  • Yields: serves 4 person
  • 6 small urad dal (split black gram) papad / or any papad
  • For Stuffing:
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese(grated)
  • 1/4 cup potato(boiled and grated)
  • 1/4 cup cashew nuts(chopped)
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup red pimento(chopped)
  • 1/4 cup capsicum(chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder / as per taste
  • 1 teaspoon dry mango powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • salt as per taste
  • Corn flour slurry as needed
  • oil for frying
  • water as needed

For Stuffing:
In a bowl mix all ingredients and divide in portion equal to papad.Make rolls of stuffing,keep aside.


Just dip the papad in water and remove from water.Place stuffing on upper part of the papad and gently make tight rolls,dip this rolls in corn flour slurry and fry in hot oil on memdium heat.


Drain on tissue paper to remove,excess oil and serve immediately.....:)
