Kebabs are the most sort out starter , since century.These kebabs are soft, succulant and healthy too, as no high calories are included in it.

  • Serves: 2 people
  • 1cup rice (boiled)
  • 1 cup split green gram (boiled)
  • 1 cup bottle gourd (grated)
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 6-7 curry leaves (chopped)
  • 4-6 green chillies (crushed)
  • 1 tsp dry mango powder
  • 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp pepper powder
  • 2 tsp fresh coriander (chopped)
  • Salt as per taste
  • Oil as needed
  • Sesame seeds as needed (for coating)
  • Semolina as needed (for coating)

In a large bowl mix rice, lentil ,bottle gourd,spices,salt and sugar.Refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.


Make small lemon sized balls and flatten on your palm.Coat this kebabs in the sesame and semolina mixture.


On hot griddle,roast this kebabs , by applying little bit of oil.serve hot with,curd dip and ketchup or any condiment of your choice:)
