Til Ke Ladoo is one of the popular sweet dishes prepared during Makarsankranti,Pongal,Baisakhi in India,i made this traditional dish with little bit of twist...HaPPy Makarsankranti/Pongal/Baisakhi to all ma foodie frnds:))))))))))))))

  • Yields: serve 3-4 person
Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon ghee
  • 1/2 cup fresh apricot (cored,peeled and pureed)
  • 1 cup jaggery (grated)
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup golden raisins (soaked and pureed)
  • 1-1/2 cup sesame seeds (roasted)
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
Method
1.

In a non stick pan heat ghee,add pureed apricot and roast,when it becomes slightly pink,add jaggery and water and by stirring,bring to boil.

Now add pureed raisins,spices and mix well,now add roasted sesame seeds and mix quickly.

3.

When all things start to leave pan,put off the flame.transfer the mixture to greased tin.Give cut,while it"s hot.

Cut and store in air tight container,remains fresh for 10-15 days on self.....:)))))))))))))

NOTE: If you don"t find fresh apricots handy,can use golden apricots soaked in warm water and pureed.

NOTE:Take care that water must be totally dehydrated,to increase the self life of fudge.
