Baby potatoes cooked with a spicy masala powder and finished with lemon juice.

  • Baby potatoes - 16-20
  • Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander seeds (cilantro) - 1 teaspoon
  • Cloves - 5 - 7
  • Fennel seeds (saunf) - 1 teaspoon
  • Green cardamom - 3 - 4
  • Whole dry red chillies, broken - 3 - 4
  • Oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - to taste
  • Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon (or as required)
Method
1.

Wash and boil the potatoes. Once the potatoes are boiled and cooled cut them
into half. In a pan dry roast all dry ingredients and grind them into a fine powder.
In another pan add oil dry roast powder, potatoes, salt and mix for 1 or 2 minutes.
Add lemon juice and cook for another 1 or 2 minutes. Turn off the flame and serve hot.
