In India it is considered as a sacred tree.It provides remedies for many diseases so it is widely used in ayurvedic medicines. Gooseberry is very rich in Vitamin C. It contains many minerals and vitamins like Calcium, Phosphorus, Iron, Carotene and Vitamin B Complex. Amla is also a powerful antioxidant agent. Both dried and fresh fruits can be used.It tastes sour and give zing to the tongue when eaten raw,but as the fruit is very nourishing,why not make something tempting and tasty out of it...so that our family member can have it and increase their immunity.

Ingredients
  • 100 gram amla (Indian goose berries)(boiled and cored)
  • 100 gram fresh coriander leaves
  • 50 gram shepu (dill leaves)
  • 4-5 green chillies or to taste
  • 1/2 inch ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon flax seeds (roasted)
  • 10-15 gram jaggery or as per taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black
  • salt salt to taste
Method
1.

In a mixer grinder add all ingredients and churn till smooth paste.

Your delicious and nutritious spread is ready,can be served with any snacks / munchies / as bread spread or use in sandwich spread or you can use it as a marination for your tofu or paneer or baby potato tandoori kebabs...many more uses,sky is the limit.....just imagine and use it...:)
