HALWA; is a all time fav hot pudding of Indians,one can make the thousands of variation s of it...:))
Properly wash the florets of cauliflower and blanch in hot water along with some cardamom powder,drain and coarsely crush it.
In a non stick pan heat ghee,swat the crushed cauliflower for 5 min and add milk,constantly stir it for 5 min.
Add crushed pedas and cashew nut powder,saffron and cardamom powder;mix well,till ghee starts to separate from it.
Garnish with pistachio slivers and serve hot...with cold vanilla ice cream on top..yummmmmmmmmmmm
NOTE:If you don''t have kesari mawa peda you can add sugar according to our taste.
NOTE: You can add any other burfi or katli to it ;instead of peda.
NOTE:One can add vanilla essence or any nuty essence like almond or pista essence to it for extra flavor.
NOTE: You can add milk powder or any nuts powder,instead of cashew nut powder.
NOTE : You can make DOODHI HALWA (BOTTLE GOURD) in same way.
