as you all know the health benefits of the AMLA-Indian Goose Berry,but the flip side of the story is that ,it is very pungent and bitter in taste,so ......what to do consume or avoid......yes consume but in different way......I used fresh amla juice ,which most of my friends may be drinking in the early mornig for good health...so one can call it Immune Roti...:D:D

  • Yields: serves 2-3 person
Ingredients
  • 1 cup quinoa flour
  • 1 cup barley (jav) flour
  • 1 cup oats flour
  • 1 tablespoon soy flour
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ginger juice
  • 1 teaspoon green chilli paste or as per taste
  • black salt to taste
  • Fresh Amla (Indian goose berry) juice- as needed
  • Olive oil / gingelly oil / vegetable oil- as needed
  • Dry flour for dusting
Method
1.

In a bowl mix first 10 ingredients,and make chapatti dough by using fresh amle juice.

Make lemon size balls and roll in little thick paranthas by using dry flour and cook on hot tawa or griddle by using very little bit of any fat of your choice.

Serve hot with any sweet pickle and curd...or with side dish of your choice.

NOTE:Use the dough immediately or it may turn bitter.If you want it hot,then just first half cook the paranthas from both the sides ,cool and keep covered and again cook by applying fat when required to eat

NOTE: If you don"t have any of the above flour don"t panic you can use any flour combination or one single flour too (not the soy flour)to make this nutritious roti.
