This Chocolate Ice Cream is easy to make,Enjoy it your way …. Topped on a milkshake, sprinkled with grated chocolate or relish it on its own.I love both the Ice-creams n this dish is ma most fav dish..:D

  • Yields: seves 3-4 person
  • 400 ml double cream
  • 250 ml whole milk
  • 180 gram dark chocolate (grated)
  • 140 gram sugar granuals
  • 40 gram cocoa powder
  • 5 gram instant coffee powder
  • 5 ml chocolate essence

On double boiler add cream,sugar,cocoa powder and coffee powder ,and whisk in one direction,till sugar melts.


Now add grated chocolate and whisk ,till chocolate melts.Add milk and whisk till glossy look appears on surface.put off the flame,bring to room temperature.


Add chocolate essence and blend with hand blender or mixer,till creamy and smooth,transfer to plastic container,cover the lid and refrigerate for 2 hrs.


After 2 hrs,cut the ice cream in cubes,see that it will not melt and again churn with hand grinder or mixer till smooth and fluffy.


Now again transfer to plastic container,cover and keep in freezer for at least 5-6 hrs or till set.


Garnish with chocolate powder,chocolate sauce,chopped pista or serve as it is....:))))))))))))
