This is very popular Panjabi dish,available in any restaurant in India or abroad.This is ma fav dish,i made it today for lunch,wanna share with you all.As you all know palak (spinach) and paneer (cottage cheese) both are rich in protien ,calcium,fibre and folic acid...very healthy dish,can be served with steamed rice or any flat bread.
For Tempering:
In a pan heat oil and butter and add given ingredients,in a given order and swat for 3-5 mins.
For Spices:
Add spinach puree and add spices in a given order and saute for 3-5 mins.
For Add On:
Add given ingredients one by one,in a given order and saute for 5-6 mins.now add paneer fingers,mix lightly.
Lastly put off the gas and add lemon juice and fresh cream and mix all.Serve hot with nan,i love it with piping hot plain rice:)
It was very tasty. I skipped green chillies and fresh cream.
