Peach Recipe | Best Lemonade Recipes
Summer is at its full swing and like you, I have been keeping myself and my family hydrated. Well, its a good time after all to bring out the icecream machine, the juicer and coconut water :). Cherry Lemonade and Watermelon Breeze are two of the most repeated drinks with coconut water in my house. By the way, have you tried Aam Panna yet? Oh, you must. Its nourishing and so so refreshing and a MUST during summer.

Amidst lot of gardening projects and major lifestyle changes, I have been lackadaisical towards Chefinyou much to utter disappointment of family and friends. Hence, I decided what better way to get back than with a cooling summer lemonade. Hopefully it will also help to cool my utter indifference with the blog as well *fingers crossed*. My last grocery shopping saw me filling up my cart with loads of peaches. The aroma was intoxicating and my little dude went overboard with his enthusiasm (Guess, he takes that from his mom!). My mind was planning on a pie but was surprised when he asked for a lemonade.

A simple google search took me to this recipe here today which turned out to be a keeper. We love peaches and to combine with a classic summer drink only made my life easier. When combined with lemons, the taste of the peaches is subtle.  This recipe today is - well not really a recipe but more a guideline. Adjusting the flavors as you go is what it needs, according to your palate. Extremely simple and quick to put together.
  • Cook time:
  • Prep time:
  • Serves: 6 people
  • Yields: Makes around 5.5 to 6 cups of lemonade.
Ingredients
  • 2 cups sliced Peaches, see Tips
  • 2 large Lemons, or as needed, see Tips
  • 1 tsp Lemon Zest
  • 1⁄3 cup Cane Sugar, or to taste, see Tips
  • 4 cups cold water, or as required
  • Icecubes and Mint to garnish
Tips
1. Peaches: I have used Organic peaches and hence I use them along with their skins. My blender does a good job of blending them into a smooth puree as well. But if the skins cause concern, you can peel them by dropping them into boiling water for about 30 seconds. The skin will split and you can peel them off easily.

2. Lemons: The amount of lemons will depend on the juiciness/ tartness level of the lemons. Further, if you want more of a peach flavor then reduce the amount of lemons or increase it if otherwise.

3. Cane Sugar: I use Evaporated Cane Sugar in this recipe. But you can use any sweetener of your choice. But keep in mind that any natural sweetener can change the taste of the lemonade, so keep that in mind.
Method
1. Squeeze enough juice as required. Refer Tip 2 w.r.t the amount needed.
2. Blend everything (except the mint) together until well combined.  Don't forget to check out Tip 1 before adding peaches.
>Serve chilled with additional ice cubes and optionally garnished with mint. Peach Recipe | Best Lemonade Recipes

Great recipe! But i'm not sure we will have fresh taste of peach if we put it into boiled water in 30 second.
