I love spicy food...and paneer too...hence by combining both things I made this.you can serve it as Kebab by serving on satay sticks or as side dish along with nan / rumali roti / steamed rice ....any how it tastes yummmmm....:)))))))))))

  • Yields: serves 2-3 person
Ingredients
  • 500 gram paneer (cottage cheese)(cubed in long and thick fingers)
  • For Marination:
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli paste
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli sauce
  • 1 teaspoon capsico sauce
  • 1 teaspoon light soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 1 teaspoon cranberry jam
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli flakes
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon clove powder
  • 1/4 cup cornflour
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds (roasted)
  • salt to taste
  • Cooking Oil spray- as needed
Method
1.

For Marination: Add all ingredients for marination,in a bowl and whisk in one direction for a min.

2.

Add paneer fingers in it,mix with light hands and keep covered in a refrigerator for 15-20 min.

3.

On a hot non stick tawa or griller sprinkle oil add place one one piece of paneer ,grill on both sides for a min.

4.

Tuck satay sticks or tooth pics and serve as kebab or as it is with roti or rice.

5.

NOTE:You can adjust heat according to your choice.

6.

NOTE: VEGANS can substitute PANEER with TOFU,but take hard tofu not the silken tofu.

7.

NOTE: Don"t use mlai paneer for it,as it will be difficult to handle.

8.

NOTE: You can add fresh pineapple or baby corn or cauliflower florets along with paneer if you wish.

I think mushroom would go great with paneer as it cooks same time
