As I told you earlier that one Sunday I had a whole spread made out of grapes,this is one of that recipe..hope you guys will like it..:)

  • Yields: serves 2-3 person
Ingredients
  • For Rice:
  • For soaking:
  • 250 gram basmati rice (long grain rice)(thoroughly washed)
  • 1 cup fresh fresh green grapes juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 gram saffron
  • salt to taste
  • For Tempering:
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 maze
  • For Pulao:
  • For Paste:
  • 100 gram red grapes (seedless)
  • 100 gram green grapes
  • 2 green chillies or to taste
  • 2 fresh red chillies or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon jaggery
  • 1 teaspoon dry mango whole (soaked)
  • 1 teaspoon black cumin
  • For Tempering:
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1-2 dry angoori lal mirch (bor or round red chilli)
  • 1 star anise
  • 50 gram black grapes (finely chopped)
Method
1.

For Rice:
Soak the rice in grapes juice,water and other given ingredients for 1/2 an hrs.In a pressure cooker heat oil add ingredients of tempering and add soaked rice along with water and take 1-2 whistle.,keep aside.

For Pulao:
Make paste of given ingredients and keep aside.Heat oil in a pan,add dry round red chilli and star anise and swat for a sec. now add paste till oil release,then add cooked rice and mix well,adjust the salt after tasting.Ad chopped black grapes and mix well.

3.

Serve Hot...as it is or with plain yogurt...:))))))))))
