  • 1/ teaspoon sugar
  • Rock salt to taste
  • Yogurt as needed (vegan can use water)
  • Dry Sago flour as needed
  • Butter / Oil as needed
Method
1.

In a large bowl add all ingredients;except yogurt, and mix well, now slowly add yogurt as needed to make chapatti ,like dough.Wrap in a cling film and rest in refrigertaor for 10 min.

2.

Now bring from freeze and apply 1 teaspoon oil and stretch the dough, very well, now make lemon size balls and with the help of dry sago flour make thin chapattis.

3.

On a hot tawa or griddle, roast paranthas with any fat of your choice.Serve hot with spicy green chilli pickle or any hot sauce or plain yogurt or raita or any condiments of your choice or just have as it is with tae or coffee..:))

4.

NOTE: Vegans can avoid yogurt and use plain water .

5.

NOTE:you can use any dry flour for dusting chapattis, but I used sago as it will give crispiness to the parantha and also make it easy to handle. If not making for fasting, then you batter use RICE flour for crispiness and easy handling.

6.

NOTE:One can use any flour for making this paranthas and also in any combination too.

7.

NOTE:In the same way you can make paranthas using black grapes or in combination of both grapes also, with same spices,it also tastes yum,but then do avoid sugar.

8.

NOTE:Those who will find it hard to handle while rolling can use Butter paper or plastic sheets for making paranthas.

9.

NOTE:One can substitute raw papaya with;bottle gourd.A little bit addition of grated Amla (Indian Goose berry, enhance its taste.
