We all know that in morning break fast,cereals,nuts,dairy product and fruits are must ....but in this jet age ...we don"t have enough time to have a wide brunch spread,so I thought that why not include all nutrients in one single dish....:)

  • Yields: serves 2-3 person
  • 8 slice multigrain bread (without trimming) or any bread
  • For Topping:
  • 1/2 cup apple (grated)
  • 1/2 cup Tofu (bean curd)(grated)
  • 1/4 cup potato (boiled and grated)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh coriander (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon tin pineapple (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon red pepper (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon dil leaves (shepu)(finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon curry leaves (finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon white sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon almonds (crushed)
  • 1 teaspoon walnuts (roasted and crushed)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh sweet lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon chat masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder (roasted)
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed pepper or as per taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • For Sprinkle:
  • white poppy seeds - as needed
  • cooking oil spray as needed / butter

cut the bread slices into triangle shape.(always heat your knife lightly over flame ,before cutting any bread).Keep aside.


For Topping:
Mix all ingredients for topping with light hands.apply on bread,evenly.Sprinkle little bit of poppy seeds over it.


On a hot non stick tawa,spray some cooking oil,and place the bread(keep the topping"s side up).cook on low flame till golden;spray some oil on top and flip it and cook on low flame for a min.


Serve hot with ketchup or any hot sauce,with any hot beverage or milk shake or cold coffee or hot milk..:)
