Omlette as you all know ,made from eggs but this one is eggless omlette...Good option for breakfast / brunch / evening snacks..hope you guys will like it....:):)

  • Yields: serves 2 person
Ingredients
  • For Batter:
  • 1 cup chickpea flour
  • 1/4 cup oats meal
  • 1 tablespoon rye or ragi flour
  • 2 tablespoon carrots (grated)
  • 2 tablespoon spinach (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoon tomatoes (grated)
  • 2 tablespoon cabbage (shredded)
  • 1 cup fresh malta juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh coriander (chopped)
  • 2-3 green chillies (chopped) or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed pepper
  • 12 teaspoon honey
  • salt to taste
  • pinch of soda-bi-carb
  • water -as needed
  • For Roasting:
  • Cooking oil spray
Method
1.

For Batter:
Mix all ingredients in a bowl,add water ,if needed to make the batter of pouring consistency,cover and rest for 10-15 min.

On a hot griddle or tawa,sprinkle little bit of cooking oil,pour ladle full of batter in a circular motion on it,cook from both sides on medium heat.

3.

Serve hot with fresh fruits,chutney and ketchup...:)

NOTE:If you wish you can add,fresh water or curd or any other fruit or vegetable juice to make batter,instead of malta juice.

5.

NOTE: if you wish can add any other veggies to your omlette.

Hi Tiana Malta is ..like orange only,so you can use orange also in place of Malta... :-x :-x :-x

How interesting !!! I do not like oats with milk but I am supposed to take oats so i made a vegetable cheela with oats and thought it was my creation....lot of people think alike .It tastes good !!
