This is ma creation,i made it 2day morning for brunch...just 2 celebrate Onam,hope all of u guys will like it:)

  • Yields: make 6 large pieces
Ingredients
  • For Outer Cover:
  • 4 raw plantain (boiled and mashed)
  • 1 potato (boiled and mashed)
  • 1/2 cup gram flour
  • 1 tablespoon jaljeera powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • salt to taste
  • For Stuffing:
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • 2 table spoon capsicum (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoon red pepper (chopped)
  • 1 table spoon fresh fenugreek chopped)
  • 2 stalk spring onion with greens (chopped)
  • 1 cup fresh coconut (scrapped)
  • 1 teaspoon dry mango powder
  • 3-4 green chillies (crushed) / as per taste
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli flakes / as per taste
  • 1 teaspoon ketchup
  • salt to taste
  • Dry cornflour as required
  • oil for deep frying
Method
1.

For Outer Cover:
Mix all ingredients and make 6 equal ball,keep aside.

2.

For Stuffing:
In a pan,heat oil and add all,ingredients ,one by one in a given order.saute for a min. and cool.
Make 6 equal balls out of it and keep aside.

For Making Bomb:
Take ball of cover and flatten it in your palm,keep the ball of stuffing and cover by light hands.
Keep this balls in refrigerator for 20 mins. and after that,coat with dry cornflour.

4.

In a hot oil,fry this bombs,on medium heat till golden,drain on tissue paper.
Serve hot with coconut-tomato chutney / ketchup / sweet chilli sauce or any dip of your choice,it taste delicious as it is also......njoyyyyyyyyy:)
