A very tasty n quick fix sweet,handy for any time....I made it today for this special festival...Maha shivratri..Lord Shiva..who is also known as kasi Ke Wasi.....and red pumpkin is alsoknown as Kashifal..in some parts of India..so I think there is no any batter day to make this sweet..:):)

  • Yields: serves 3-4 person
Ingredients
  • 300 gram red pumpkin (grated)
  • ... 150 gram jaggery (grated)
  • 100 gram amarnath flour
  • 100 gram sago flour
  • 50 gram sesame seeds
  • 50 gram poppy seeds
  • 50 ml fresh orange juice
  • 1 inch ginger (grated)
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon saffron
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon rock salt (farali salt)
  • 1/2 teaspoon soda-bi-carb or hot oil
  • Oil for frying
Method
1.

In a large bowl mix all ingredients and mix well.

Make small vada with spoon,fry till golden and drain on tissue paper.

3.

Serve Hot Dessert with any chilled farali kheer...:)

NOTE:

It remain fresh on self for 2 days.

NOTE:
If you are calorie conscious make small pancakes from batter,then do add more orange juice to make the batter of pouring consistency.
