Sprouts are a powerhouse of nutrition.Sprouts abound with antioxidants, they are full of protein, chlorophyll, vitamins,
minerals and amino acids.So i used it for making a little bit healthy and delicious kebabs,hope u guys like it:))))))

  • Yields: serves 3-4 person
Ingredients
  • For Paste:
  • 1/2 cup moong bean or whole green gram sprout
  • 1/2 cup moth bean or dew gram sprouts
  • 1/2 cup kala chana or black chickpeas sprouts
  • 1/2 cup green hara chana or chickpeas sprouts
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 5-6 green chillies / as per taste
  • For Add On:
  • 1/4 cup roasted gram or dalia powder
  • 1/2 cup onions(finely chopped)
  • 1/4 cup fresh coriander (chopped)
  • 5-7 fresh mint leaves (torn by hand)
  • 5-7 curry leaves (chopped)
  • 1/4 teaspoon asafoetida
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed pepper / as per taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon nigella seeds
  • 1 teaspoon dry fenugreek leaves
  • 1 teaspoon chat masala
  • 1 tablespoon chana masala powder
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup black sesame seeds
  • salt to taste
  • For Brushing:
  • 2 tablespoon oil
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
Method
1.

For Paste: In a mixer grinder coarsely ground all ingredients.Add all add ons one by one and mix well,keep covered for 25 min;so that all spices blend well with sprout mixture.

Make balls out of the dough and give shape of your choice,brush with brushing mixture and in a preheated oven Place in the middle shelf of oven and bake on moderate heat for 20-25 minutes or until the top browns.

Serve hot with green chutney and khajoor-imli (tamrind and dates)chutney or just with ketchup........njoyyyyyyyy

NOTE: You can deep fry this kebabs if wish.

NOTE: As I told you earlier,must use lemon juice in this recipe to fully utilize the Iron from sprouts.

NOTE: You can use any mix sprouts of your choice.
